Que no nos pase nada!
THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN frontman Greg Puciato is collaborating with Max Cavalera (SOULFLY, CAVALERA CONSPIRACY, SEPULTURA) on "an album of thrash brutality," according to a recent Facebook posting from the singer. Puciato previously said that the as-yet-unnamed project would be similar in spirit to NAILBOMB, Cavalera's 1994 one-off industrial punk-infused metal pairing with FUDGE TUNNEL's Alex Newport.

Max lo ha confirmado en una entrevista
Max: "I'm also working with Greg from THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN; we're gonna do a NAILBOMB-type project. We are selecting the musicians right now and getting the songwriting [together]. Greg's gonna come here [to Max's home base in] Phoenix and spend some time with me. We're gonna write some tunes. It's gonna be kind of like NAILBOMB, so it's gonna be a one-off kind of project, super-heavy.
"Me and Greg decided to do it. We had a lot of fun making the 'Rise Of The Fallen' song [on] the SOULFLY 'Omen' CD where me and Greg sang together. We think our voices are really cool together, so we decided to make a whole, full record. And that's gonna come out sometime next year also."

yo tengo mentalidad "james hetfield" con los proyectos paralelos... los veo como un "producto" inferior al de sus bandas originales; cuando salen cosas chulas piensas en cómo hubieran sonado esos temas con sus propios grupos. No sé si me explico.
Básicamente se malgastan buenas ideas que seguro se podrían aprovechar mejor en sus respectivos grupos (y no hablo solo de soulfly/cc & dillinger escape plan).

Yo tampoco confío mucho en lo que pueda salir, ojalá me equivoque... Espero que el peso lo lleve Pusciato porque a Cavalera meda que hace años que se acabaron las ideas

hetfield dijo eso porque no queria a su bajista (newsted) cansandose en las vacaciones, lo queria fresco para metallica,,, era un comentario puramente egoista, y lo entiendo, buscaba lo mejor para su banda,, otra cosa es lo que piense de las bandas paralelas que no le afectan.....Curioso, la primera persona a la que he visto con una camiseta de Down fue a Hetfield en 1996 cuando sacaron Load,,, Down era un proyecto paralelo.... y es uno de los mejores discos de Rock duro de todos los tiempos...
Nailbomb era otro proyecto paralelo.. y pointblanck es otra maravilla de leyenda...
musicos de renombre creando musica a su antojo sin presión y pasandoselo bien??? es la mejor manera de hacer buena musica
ojo con los proyectos paralelos!!!!

Troy Sanders de Mastodon también se ha unido al proyecto que ya está en marcha definitivamente. El grupo entrará en los Fortress Studio de Los Angeles con el productor Josh Wilbur (LAMB OF GOD, GOJIRA) para sacar el disco el año que viene. Lo que no tienen todavía es nombre 
Según Maximiliano:
"It's going to be cool. We just don't have a name yet. The name is a pain in the ass to find a name, but the music is great. We have been working on this for two years.
Greg approached me kinda like how Alex [Newport; FUDGE TUNNEL] approached me to do NAILBOMB in that he was really, really trying to get me to do this project. I told him already I was pretty busy doing SOULFLY and CAVALERA CONSPIRACY [and] I was not really looking for an extra thing, but he was pretty insistent and then I just gave up and was, like, 'Let's fucking do this!'
It started with just me and Greg and then we got Dave Elitch ...” he's an amazing drummer ...” and then Greg knew Troy and we asked him to be the bassist so it kind of became a supergroup all of a sudden. We jammed a couple of times and the last jam we did it sounded killer; the songs are really powerful real heavy. It's hard to describe but I think the coolest thing about this project is that all three of us are going to sing on every song."
