Yo, teniendo en cuenta que lo que mueve es la pasta más que el proyecto, si lo han dejado es por problemas personales.
Como fnm, que se juntaron para darnos una serie de conciertos grandiosos por una buena pasta y no siguen porque no le sale al amigo Patton

Howerdel habló recientemente con la gente de Billboard.com, le preguntaron sobre los planes de sacar material nuevo:

“Right now the intention is not to put out a (full album) but just to release some songs along the way, and then they might be re-imagined and put together in some collection. If you need to have an album then there will be something more like a photo album where you collect these things and you put them in.
If we were prepared to do a 12-to-18 month campaign and do a new record and new tour, that’s a little different and we’d approach it a little differently. But with Maynard‘s commitments to other projects, I don’t think it’s possible, or it’s certainly not in the future.”
Sobre su situación con los sellos discográficos:
“We have a freedom to release things as we want. We don’t have a record deal anymore. We don’t have a record company backing us and financially funding a record or a tour and getting involved. We’re doing everything ourselves now. It gives you a lot of freedom, but it gives you limitations as well. You just have to find a balance within that.”
También dijo que han estado grabando todos los conciertos del otoño del año pasado, así que podrían sacar algo para el año que viene si quisieran

Nos va a tocar esperar sentados para un nuevo disco... Que sí, que mañana tocan en Las Vegas y puede que caiga algún tema nuevo pero de ahí a sacar disco...

To me it's shocking ...” James is ...” and I say this without exaggeration ...” shockingly humble. He's done everything he can to do what's best for the band and not for his personal gain. I think a lot of people in his position, with his history, could have taken this a very different way, could have come in and tried to strong-arm or sabotage the group in a kind of way because of what the dynamic in his last band. And in no way did that happen. I'm not just trying to blow smoke up his ass. Truly, he's never a pain in the ass in any kind of way. He's great to have around and important to have around, musically and socially....
