“Over the past few months, we’ve been busy jamming, writing and hanging out together – exploring the creative aspect of being Soundgarden. It feels great. We have some cool new songs that we are going to record very soon. Thank you for all of the support!
Loudest of Love,
Ben, Chris , Kim and Matt“
"We are jamming. Just getting to re-learn and re-love each other in a creative fashion. And itÂ’s wonderful, itÂ’s been going great. EveryoneÂ’s happy, and there are a lot of ideas being thrown around. We do apologize that we havenÂ’t been able to share the past few months with our fans, because it really has been a couple of months of a lot of creative insight and sharing amongst the band members.
Although there are many of our fans that would love us to be entertainers, we love that too, but the one element that we hadnÂ’t fully re-explored and re-established is the creative element. The creative partnership is certainly the one we wanted to set aside time to enjoy, and thatÂ’s what weÂ’ve been"
Down on the upside", Adam Kasper
Reunited grunge legends SOUNDGARDEN will enter a Seattle-area studio in about a week with producer Adam Kasper (who worked on SOUNDGARDEN's last LP, 1996's "Down On The Upside") to begin recording their new album.
The quartet — singer Chris Cornell, guitarist Kim Thayil, drummer Matt Cameron, and bassist Ben Shepherd — plans to spend as long as necessary to "make an album that we all really love," Cornell tells Spin.com. "We don't have a schedule," he adds. "It's not like we are going to go into the studio and come out when we're finished with an album."
"We're putting the music first," Cornell explains. "The process of writing, recording, and being creative together is the most important thing, not meeting a deadline."

A ti te gustaba el "Down on the upside"?

venga, coserme a palos.
